Street store 2019

“No joy can equal the joy of serving others.”

On Saturday, 18 May 2019 the Bartlet team took time out of the schedules to give back to the community.

Street Store is in International initiative with the vision of serving the homeless. It is a pop-up store that can be created in any community around the world where the homeless shop for FREE. Clothes are collected ahead of the Street Store, but not donated – the aim is for people to meet and interact. The world’s haves meet the have-nots and remember that both sides are human. It is a truly humbling experience, and walk away even more thankful for what you have than ever before.

Together with other individuals, the Bartlet team managed the Food Stall by providing each passing homeless person with a hot dog and cold drink.

The smiles on their faces were priceless, and we are already looking forward to next year.
